قال الاتحاد الفلسطيني لكرة القدم يوم الخميس إنه تعذر مواجهة المنتخب الأول لكل من موريتانيا وبنين وديا في المغرب خلال الشهر الجاري استعدادا لكأس آسيا 2027، بسبب “الظروف الراهنة في المنطقة”.
وقال الاتحاد الفلسطيني في بيان عبر موقعه الرسمي في وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي “تعذر مشاركة المنتخب الوطني الأول في التجمع الودي الذي تستضيفه المملكة المغربية، والذي كان مقررا أن يخوض الفدائي (المنتخب الفلسطيني) خلاله مباراتين وديتين أمام منتخبي موريتانيا وبنين، في فترة التوقف الدولي لشهر مارس/آذار الجاري”.
وأضاف البيان “يؤكد الاتحاد أن الظروف الراهنة في المنطقة والتحديات المرتبطة بالسفر وإغلاق المطارات حالت دون استكمال ترتيبات مشاركة بعثة المنتخب بالشكل المطلوب”.
ويلعب أغلب لاعبي منتخب فلسطين، الذي تأهل إلى كأس آسيا 2027 التي ستقام في السعودية مطلع العام المقبل، في أندية خليجية.
