وأوضح السالم أن هذه الجولات تأتي في إطار الاطمئنان على جاهزية المسالخ واستمرارية عملها بكفاءة والوقوف على الإجراءات المتبعة خلال الظروف الاستثنائية التي تمر بها البلاد مشيرا إلى أن الهيئة تواصل جهودها الرقابية على مدار الساعة لضمان سلامة الغذاء وتوفير منتجات غذائية آمنة للمستهلكين.
وشدد على أن الهيئة لن تتهاون في تطبيق القوانين واللوائح وستتخذ كافة الإجراءات اللازمة بحق أي مخالفات ترصد بما يعزز منظومة الأمن الغذائي في الكويت.
