اجتماع باكستان يشدد على خفض التصعيد ويدعو لتغليب الدبلوماسية والحوار – أخبار السعودية

اتفق وزراء خارجية مصر والسعودية وتركيا وباكستان اليوم (الأحد) على التنسيق المشترك، والاستمرار في التشاور لدعم مساعي خفض التصعيد، وإرساء الأمن والاستقرار في المنطقة، بما يحول دون اتساع رقعة حرب إيران.

وتبادل الوزراء خلال اجتماع رباعي في إسلام أباد اليوم التقييمات بشأن التداعيات الاقتصادية الوخيمة لحرب إيران، وآثارها على الملاحة الدولية، وسلاسل الإمداد، والأمن الغذائي، فضلاً عن تداعياتها على أمن الطاقة في ظل ارتفاع أسعار النفط ومصادر الطاقة، وفقاً لما ذكرته وزارة الخارجية المصرية في بيان لها.

وأكد المتحدث باسم الخارجية المصرية السفير تميم خلاف أن الاجتماع بحث سبل تعزيز التنسيق المشترك إزاء التطورات المتسارعة والتصعيد العسكري الخطير الذي تشهده المنطقة، والعمل على تغليب الدبلوماسية ولغة الحوار كسبيل رئيسي لاحتواء الأزمة وتداعياتها الوخيمة على أمن واستقرار المنطقة، مبيناً أن الاجتماع تناول أيضاً الجهود المبذولة في إطار الرباعية لخفض التصعيد واحتواء التوتر، وتشجيع تدشين مسار تفاوضي بين الولايات المتحدة وإيران، لتحقيق التهدئة وتجنيب المنطقة الانزلاق إلى حالة من الفوضى الشاملة.

وأوضح المتحدث باسم الخارجية المصرية أن الوزير بدر عبد العاطي شدد خلال الاجتماع على أهمية تضافر الجهود الإقليمية والدولية لاحتواء الموقف، مؤكداً أن مسار التهدئة وخفض التصعيد، القائم على الحلول الدبلوماسية، يمثل السبيل الوحيد لمعالجة الأزمة الراهنة.

وأعرب عن تطلعه إلى أن تسفر الجهود المشتركة التي تقوم بها الرباعية عن خفض حدة التوتر، وإطلاق مسار تدريجي للتهدئة يفضي إلى إنهاء الحرب، مؤكداً على أهمية العمل مستقبلاً على دراسة وضع ترتيبات إقليمية شاملة تعزز مفهوم الأمن الجماعي، وتطوير آليات تنفيذية فعالة له، باعتبار ذلك ضرورة استراتيجية ملحة لمواجهة التحديات غير المسبوقة التي تستهدف سيادة الدول بالمنطقة ووحدة وسلامة أراضيها.

وأوضحت وزارة الخارجية الباكستانية أن الاجتماع، الذي شارك فيه وزراء خارجية السعودية الأمير فيصل بن فرحان، وتركيا هاكان فيدان، ومصر بدر عبد العاطي، وباكستان إسحاق دار، تناول تطورات الأوضاع الإقليمية، إلى جانب مناقشة قضايا ذات اهتمام مشترك، في ظل التصعيد المستمر في المنطقة.

وكان وزير الخارجية الباكستاني محمد إسحاق دار دعا (السبت) نظيره الإيراني عباس عراقجي إلى خفض التصعيد في الحرب الدائرة مع الولايات المتحدة وإسرائيل، مؤكداً أن «الحوار والدبلوماسية هما السبيل الوحيد لتحقيق سلام دائم».

The foreign ministers of Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan agreed today (Sunday) on joint coordination and to continue consultations to support efforts to de-escalate tensions and establish security and stability in the region, preventing the expansion of the Iran war.

The ministers exchanged assessments during a quadrilateral meeting in Islamabad today regarding the severe economic repercussions of the Iran war, its effects on international navigation, supply chains, and food security, as well as its implications for energy security amid rising oil and energy prices, according to a statement from the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The spokesperson for the Egyptian Foreign Ministry, Ambassador Tamim Khalaf, confirmed that the meeting discussed ways to enhance joint coordination regarding the accelerating developments and the serious military escalation in the region, and to work on prioritizing diplomacy and dialogue as the main means to contain the crisis and its severe repercussions on the security and stability of the region. He indicated that the meeting also addressed the efforts made within the framework of the quadrilateral to de-escalate tensions and contain the situation, and to encourage the initiation of a negotiating path between the United States and Iran to achieve calm and prevent the region from slipping into a state of total chaos.

The spokesperson for the Egyptian Foreign Ministry clarified that Minister Badr Abdel Atti emphasized during the meeting the importance of regional and international efforts to contain the situation, affirming that the path of de-escalation based on diplomatic solutions represents the only way to address the current crisis.

He expressed hope that the joint efforts undertaken by the quadrilateral would lead to a reduction in tension and the launch of a gradual path to calm that would ultimately end the war, emphasizing the importance of working in the future to study the establishment of comprehensive regional arrangements that enhance the concept of collective security and develop effective executive mechanisms for it, considering this a pressing strategic necessity to face the unprecedented challenges targeting the sovereignty of states in the region and the unity and integrity of their territories.

The Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the meeting, which included the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, Turkey’s Hakan Fidan, Egypt’s Badr Abdel Atti, and Pakistan’s Ishaq Dar, discussed regional developments, along with issues of mutual interest, amid the ongoing escalation in the region.

Pakistani Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar called on his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araqchi on Saturday to de-escalate the ongoing war with the United States and Israel, affirming that “dialogue and diplomacy are the only way to achieve lasting peace.”
