علمت «عكاظ» من مصادرها داخل نادي الاتحاد أن هناك غربلة فنية للفريق الاتحادي الكروي الأول، بداية من الجهاز الفني بقيادة المدرب كونسيساو، وبعض اللاعبين الأجانب والمحليين، عقب نهاية الموسم الرياضي الحالي.
وأوضحت المصادر أن هناك رغبة اتحادية جادة من أجل صنع فريق قوي وقادر على المنافسة على البطولات في السنوات القادمة.
وأشارت المصادر إلى أن نادي الاتحاد فتح خطوط التواصل مع وكلاء أعمال من أجل التعاقد مع جهاز فني جديد، وجلب لاعبين أجانب ومحليين يشكلون إضافة فنية للفريق الاتحادي.
من جانب آخر، يسعى الفريق الاتحادي للمنافسة على الحصول على المركز الخامس في سلم ترتيب فرق دوري روشن السعودي للمحترفين، من أجل ضمان المشاركة في مباريات ملحق دوري أبطال آسيا القادمة، إذ تبقت للعميد 3 مباريات في دوري روشن، أمام الاتفاق (الخميس) على ملعب إيجو بالدمام، وضد الشباب (الأحد القادم) على ملعب اس اتش جي ارينا بالرياض، وأمام القادسية (الخميس بعد القادم) على ملعب الإنماء بمدينة الملك عبدالله الرياضية بجدة، يطمح خلالها في تحقيق الانتصارات وحصد النقاط والحصول على المركز الخامس بالدوري.

The sources indicated that there is a serious desire within Al-Ittihad to build a strong team capable of competing for championships in the coming years.
The sources also mentioned that Al-Ittihad Club has opened lines of communication with agents to contract a new coaching staff and bring in foreign and local players who will add technical value to the Al-Ittihad team.
On another note, the Al-Ittihad team is striving to compete for the fifth place in the standings of the Roshan Saudi Professional League, in order to ensure participation in the upcoming AFC Champions League playoff matches. The team has three remaining matches in the Roshan League, against Al-Ettifaq (Thursday) at the Ego Stadium in Dammam, against Al-Shabab (next Sunday) at the SHG Arena in Riyadh, and against Al-Qadisiyah (the Thursday after next) at the Al-Intimaa Stadium in King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, during which they aim to achieve victories, collect points, and secure fifth place in the league.
