شدد الفنان المصري محمد إمام على أن والده «الزعيم» عادل إمام يعيش أياماً جميلة وفرحة لا توصف عقب فوز منتخب «الفراعنة» على نيوزيلندا بثلاثية مقابل هدف. وأشار إلى أن والده يتابع مباريات مصر ويشعر بفخر وسعادة كبيرين تجاه الأداء الذي يقدمه المنتخب في البطولة، وأوضح أن فوز الفراعنة الأخير كان من بين اللحظات التي أسعدت والده بصورة لافتة.
