انطلقت اليوم أعمال الجناح السعودي المشارك في المعرض الدولي للدفاع والأمن «يوروساتوري 2026» في العاصمة الفرنسية باريس، الذي تنظمه الهيئة العامة للصناعات العسكرية خلال الفترة من 15 إلى 19 يونيو الجاري، بمشاركة 10 جهات وطنية من القطاعين الحكومي والخاص، لاستعراض أحدث القدرات الصناعية والخدمية في قطاع الصناعات العسكرية والدفاعية.
وافتتح محافظ الهيئة العامة للصناعات العسكرية المهندس أحمد العوهلي الجناح السعودي، بحضور محافظ الهيئة العامة للتطوير الدفاعي الدكتور فالح السليمان، ومساعد وزير الدفاع للشؤون التنفيذية الدكتور خالد البياري، وسفير خادم الحرمين الشريفين لدى فرنسا فهد الرويلي، إلى جانب عدد من الرؤساء التنفيذيين للشركات الوطنية المشاركة وكبار المسؤولين والخبراء الدوليين.
واطّلع الحضور خلال جولتهم على أحدث التقنيات والأنظمة الدفاعية التي تعكس التطور المتسارع الذي تشهده الصناعات العسكرية في المملكة، والجهود المبذولة لتعزيز القدرات الوطنية ورفع مستوى التوطين في القطاع.
ويستعرض الجناح السعودي أحدث المنتجات والحلول الدفاعية، ويهدف إلى تعزيز الشراكات مع كبرى الشركات العالمية، واستكشاف فرص الاستثمار والتعاون ونقل التقنية، بما يدعم مستهدفات رؤية السعودية 2030 الرامية إلى توطين أكثر من 50% من الإنفاق العسكري بحلول 2030.
وتشارك في الجناح السعودي إلى جانب الهيئة العامة للصناعات العسكرية جهات وطنية عدة، من أبرزها وزارة الصناعة والثروة المعدنية، والهيئة العامة للتطوير الدفاعي، والشركة السعودية للصناعات العسكرية (SAMI)، وعدد من الشركات الوطنية المتخصصة في الصناعات والخدمات الدفاعية.
وأكد العوهلي أن مشاركة المملكة في «يوروساتوري 2026» تعكس المكانة المتنامية التي باتت تحتلها المملكة في قطاع الصناعات العسكرية، وتسهم في تعزيز الشراكات الدولية واستقطاب الاستثمارات النوعية، مشيراً إلى أن الجناح السعودي يمثل منصة مهمة لإبراز ما حققته الشركات الوطنية من تطور في القدرات الصناعية والخدمية.
ومن المقرر أن يشهد الجناح خلال أيام المعرض سلسلة من اللقاءات والاجتماعات الثنائية مع الشركات والوفود الدولية المشاركة، بهدف تبادل الخبرات واستكشاف فرص التعاون والشراكات الإستراتيجية، إلى جانب إبراز البيئة الاستثمارية التي توفرها المملكة لدعم نمو القطاع وتوطين التقنيات المتقدمة.
The Saudi pavilion participating in the International Defense and Security Exhibition “Eurosatory 2026” officially launched today in the French capital, Paris. The event is organized by the General Authority for Military Industries from June 15 to 19, with the participation of 10 national entities from both the public and private sectors, showcasing the latest industrial and service capabilities in the military and defense industries.
The Governor of the General Authority for Military Industries, Engineer Ahmed Al-Owhali, inaugurated the Saudi pavilion, attended by the Governor of the General Authority for Defense Development, Dr. Faleh Al-Suleiman, the Assistant Minister of Defense for Executive Affairs, Dr. Khalid Al-Bayari, and the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to France, Fahd Al-Ruwaili, along with several CEOs of participating national companies and senior officials and international experts.
During their tour, attendees were briefed on the latest technologies and defense systems that reflect the rapid development of military industries in the Kingdom, as well as the efforts made to enhance national capabilities and increase the level of localization in the sector.
The Saudi pavilion showcases the latest defense products and solutions, aiming to strengthen partnerships with major global companies, explore investment and cooperation opportunities, and transfer technology, supporting the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to localize more than 50% of military spending by 2030.
In addition to the General Authority for Military Industries, several national entities are participating in the Saudi pavilion, including the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, the General Authority for Defense Development, the Saudi Military Industries Company (SAMI), and several national companies specialized in defense industries and services.
Al-Owhali emphasized that the Kingdom’s participation in “Eurosatory 2026” reflects the growing position the Kingdom has attained in the military industries sector and contributes to enhancing international partnerships and attracting quality investments, noting that the Saudi pavilion represents an important platform to highlight the advancements achieved by national companies in industrial and service capabilities.
During the exhibition days, the pavilion is set to witness a series of meetings and bilateral discussions with participating international companies and delegations, aimed at exchanging experiences and exploring opportunities for cooperation and strategic partnerships, in addition to showcasing the investment environment provided by the Kingdom to support the growth of the sector and localize advanced technologies.
