أعرب مدافع مانشستر يونايتد هاري ماغواير عن صدمته من قرار مدرب منتخب إنجلترا توماس توخيل باستبعاده من قائمة «الأسود الثلاثة» التي ستخوض بطولة كأس العالم 2026.
ورغم أن توخيل لم يعلن بعد عن القائمة الرسمية لبطولة كأس العالم 2026، إلا أن ماغواير أكد غيابه عن المونديال.
رسالة غاضبة بعد الاستبعاد
وكتب ماغواير عبر حسابه على موقع «إنستغرام»: «كنتُ واثقًا من قدرتي على لعب دور بارز هذا الصيف مع منتخب بلادي بعد الموسم الذي قدمته، لقد صُدمتُ وشعرتُ بخيبة أملٍ شديدةٍ إزاء هذا القرار».
وأضاف المدافع البالغ من العمر 33 عاماً: «لطالما كان ارتداء هذا القميص وتمثيل بلادي على مرّ السنين متعةً لا تُضاهى».

وخاض ماغواير 66 مباراة دولية بقميص إنجلترا، وكان أحد أعمدة خط دفاع المنتخب في البطولات الأخيرة.
